ToolTrusted is an independent review site covering email marketing tools. We test every platform in production for at least four weeks before publishing, and our editors are happy to provide quotes, data, and on-the-record commentary to journalists, podcasters, and editors covering email marketing, deliverability, and the SaaS-pricing landscape. This page is the fastest way to find what you need from us — bios, brand assets, and the angles we’ll comment on.
About ToolTrusted
ToolTrusted reviews the email marketing platforms used by bloggers, creators, small businesses, and DTC brands. Every tool we cover is tested for at least four weeks on a real subscriber list, with real automations and independent inbox-placement testing. We publish the version we tested and the date we tested it, so a review is never a stale snapshot. Our methodology, scoring rubric, and conflict-of-interest policy are all on the About page.

Happy to comment on: Gmail/Yahoo bulk-sender requirements · SPF/DKIM/DMARC misconfigurations · domain and IP warm-up · deliverability post-migration · BIMI rollout.
Story angles we’ll comment on
If you’re working on any of the angles below, one of our editors can almost certainly help with a quote, a data point, or a methodology check. Email press@tooltrusted.com with the deadline and the angle, and we’ll route it.
- ESP pricing reality — what an email tool actually costs at 1,000 / 10,000 / 25,000 / 100,000 subscribers once overage fees and add-ons are factored in. See our 2026 Pricing Reality Check.
- Deliverability after the 2024–2026 Gmail/Yahoo bulk-sender rules — what changed, who’s been affected, and what small senders should do.
- Mailchimp alternatives and the post-Intuit landscape — why creators and small businesses are switching, and where they’re going.
- The creator-economy email stack — Kit (formerly ConvertKit), Beehiiv, Substack, and the case for vs against staying on Substack.
- SPF / DKIM / DMARC configuration mistakes — the failure modes we see most often in migration audits.
- ESP migrations without breaking sender reputation — the warm-up playbook, the gotchas, and how long it really takes.
- Affiliate transparency in the SaaS review space — how independent reviewers should disclose, and what readers should look for.

Brand-name and attribution rules
- Name is always written as ToolTrusted — one word, capital T-T. Avoid “Tool Trusted”, “tooltrusted”, and “Tool-Trusted”.
- Preferred byline attribution: “<Editor name>, <Editor role>, ToolTrusted” — e.g. “Elena Tarrant, Lead Editor at ToolTrusted”.
- For link attribution: a single inline link to the relevant ToolTrusted article (not the homepage) is enough; we don’t expect a nofollow.
- If quoting from a ToolTrusted article verbatim, please include the publication date the editor cited (the “Updated:” label, where present, gives the freshest verifiable date).
